Hi my name is Mark Fisher.

I specialize in beginner and intermediate students, 8 years and up, and teach both electric and acoustic guitar technique.

I can teach in your home, your office, or in my home studio.

I will teach you the songs that you want to play, be it rock, blues, singer-songwriter, country, folk or praise music. I make it fun, but also instill proper technique and fundamentals, creating a strong foundation that allows for future growth.

I teach the basics, like tuning, reading chord diagrams and tablature, as well as teaching you to play songs from recordings. In the process you will develop a sense of pitch, melody, rhythm, and eventually, the ability to learn songs on your own from CD’s and videos.

I can teach you how to accompany a singer, or how to accompany yourself.

I will explain how songs are written, and encourage you to create your own.
